Bright, dark red-ruby.  Perfumed aromas of cassis, licorice and sweet oak are lifted by a violet note.  Juicy, shapely and pure, with lovely restrained sweetness and excellent cut to the blackberry and currant fruit flavors.  Finishes with fine-grained chocolatey tannins, good energy and lovely verve.  Sophisticated, lively cabernet with aging potential.
