Glass-staining purple-ruby.  Sweet raspberry, dark cherry and cinnamon on the nose.  Clean and juicy on the palate, with dense dark berry and plum flavors complicated by flowers and smoke.  Finishes with sneaky, perfumed persistence and building peppery tannins that remain smooth.  A very good showing.
