(made with 25% whole clusters, with 20% new oak): Inky purple. Smoky, spice-accented aromas of blackcurrant and cherry compote, with a hint of licorice in the background. Densely packed and weighty but showing unlikely energy on the palate, presenting gently sweet black and blue fruit flavors. Juicy acidity adds finishing clarity and bite, while dusty tannins provide grip. This wine should age slowly.
