Bright, deep red. Cassis, licorice, woodsmoke and pepper on the musky, oaky nose. Supple and moderately concentrated, with a restrained sweetness to the redcurrant, spice, tobacco leaf and fresh herb flavors. Nicely balanced cabernet in an Old World style. Finishes with supple tannins, some apparent oakiness and lingering notes of mint and herbs. These wines all offer very good value.
