92 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - September/October 2013

(35% carinena, 35% syrah and 30% garnacha; fermented in stainless steel and aged in French oak for 18 months):  Inky ruby.  Smoke- and spice-accented aromas of dark berry liqueur, incense and floral pastilles.  Smooth, expansive and seamless, offering sexy blueberry preserve and cola flavors along with a hint of candied violet.  Finishes with bright mineral snap, sneaky tannins and lingering spiciness.
