(a blend of shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, grenache and petit verdot):  Bright, full red.  Nuanced nose offers redcurrant, sour cherry, menthol, tobacco and herbs.  Supple on entry, then drier and a bit green in the middle, with a peppery element currently dominating red fruits.  With its modest texture and dusty, drying tannins, this is tough going today.
