(includes 5% merlot): Saturated ruby-red. Brooding, cool aromas and flavors of blackberry, cassis and violet, complemented by toasty, smoky-oaky torrefaction. Deeper than the A Lisa; still a bit green but not dry or hard. Finishes clean and persistent, with slightly dusty tannins.
