Bright ruby-red.  Heady, exotically perfumed aromas of cherry-cola, raspberry liqueur, star anise and freshly turned earth, along with notes of incense and smoky herbs.  Stains the palate with intense red fruit flavors that gain weight and sweetness with air.  Manages to be powerful as well as energetic, finishing with outstanding focus and gently tannic persistence.
