(no oak):  Brilliant ruby.  Cherry and redcurrant aromas are brightened by cracked pepper and fresh flowers.  Juicy, pliant red and dark berry flavors show good depth and intensity but carry no excess weight.  Finishes sweet and smoky, with very good energy and lift.  This wine is an amazing value.
