About Bethel Heights Vineyard
A family operation through and through, this Willamette Valley vineyard has been run by the Casteel—Dudley—Webb family conglomerate since 1977. It’s a testament to the possibilities of cooperation that 11, yes 11, family members are currently co-owners of the vineyard. There is also a profound respect for the environment here. Ted Casteel, one of the vineyard’s founders, also co-founded the Low Input Viticulture and Enology certification program for sustainable viticulture.

Bright red. A sexy, perfumed bouquet exudes fresh red berries, potpourri and musky herbs. Sweet and supple on entry, then more tangy in the mid-palate, offering taut raspberry and bitter cherry flavors and a hint of orange pith. Refreshingly bitter on the nervy finish, which shows no obvious tannins and an aftertaste of blood orange.
