Bright ruby-red.  Pungent black raspberry and cola aromas are lifted by notes of white pepper and smoky minerals.  Juicy and expansive, offering sweet red and dark berry flavors and a touch of vanilla.  Supple and gently spicy on a finish that shows very good persistence and slow-building, fine-grained tannins.
