Light, bright red.  Intense redcurrant and raspberry aromas show impressive precision and gain weight with air, picking up notes of Asian spices, blood orange and smoky minerals.  Brisk, sharply focused red berry flavors stain the palate, showing excellent purity and lift.  Floral pastille, cinnamon and star anise flavors dominate the long, nervy finish, which is framed by harmonious silky tannins.
