About Bethel Heights Vineyard
A family operation through and through, this Willamette Valley vineyard has been run by the Casteel—Dudley—Webb family conglomerate since 1977. It’s a testament to the possibilities of cooperation that 11, yes 11, family members are currently co-owners of the vineyard. There is also a profound respect for the environment here. Ted Casteel, one of the vineyard’s founders, also co-founded the Low Input Viticulture and Enology certification program for sustainable viticulture.

Brilliant ruby-red. Pungent dark berries, cherry pit and licorice on the nose, with subtle herb and earth nuances adding complexity. Sappy and focused, offering bitter cherry and blackberry flavors and a touch of spicecake on the back half. Finishes with strong tangy cut, a touch of cola and echoing dark berry and allspice qualities.
