Vivid ruby-red.  Fresh dark berries, cherry-cola, Indian spices and minerals on the intensely perfumed nose.  Offers vibrant black raspberry and spicecake flavors that show very good sweetness, with notes of smoky minerals, mocha and cola adding complexity.  Finishes with excellent clarity and thrust, with fine-grained tannins coming on late and providing structure.  Quite succulent for the vintage and delicious now.
