Vivid ruby.  Intense mineral- and spice-accented red berry liqueur, cherry pit and floral pastille flavors show excellent clarity, with a hint of licorice adding depth.  Deeper blackberry and bitter chocolate on the palate, with zesty acidity and white pepper notes adding vivacity.  Expands and gains sweetness on the finish, showing lingering rose and spicecake qualities and harmonious tannins.
