Vivid red.  Cherry, bitter chocolate and subtle floral and smoky nuances on the nose.  Supple, gently sweet dark berry flavors become more tangy with air and pick up a peppery nuance.  Shows good weight and power for an entry-level wine from the vintage, finishing smooth and subtly smoky, with a lingering note of bitter cherry.
