Pale yellow.  Saline oyster shell and a menthol nuance on the very reticent nose.  Then surprisingly rich and fruity in the mouth, offering terrific volume and pliancy to its ripe lemon drop and stone flavors.  Finishes supple and long, with a strong palate-saturating impression of saline dry extract.  This seamless, very ripe wine was more open-knit than the Cote de Lechet a year ago and that's still the case after the bottling.  A superb example of its vintage.
