(bottled in February of 2013): Medium red. Plum and redcurrant aromas are complicated by a truffley nuance, which carries through on the palate. But quite tight, even a bit biting, today, with firm dusty tannins currently cutting off its fruit. Not at all a sweet style. Rivetti holds this wine for an extra year in his cellar and prefers to release it only when it's ready to drink, but this is tough going today.
