About Domaine du Vissoux/Pierre-Marie Chermette
From a hamlet called "Le Vissoux" in the southern Beaujolais commune of Saint Verand, Pierre-Marie and Martine Chermette make some of the most natural and wild Beaujolais there is- eschewing chaptalization, commercial yeasts or filtration.

Brilliant violet color. Powerful, mineral-accented aromas of cherry-cola, dark berries and violet, with a hint of woodsmoke in the background, Juicy and penetrating, offering vibrant dark berry flavors and a jolt of zesty minerality on the back half. The floral note repeats on the finish, which is firmed by youthful, fine-grained tannins.
