(from vines in Castiglione Falletto):  Good deep, full red.  Black raspberry, musky earth and tobacco on the nose, plus a lot of exotic oak.  Plush, sweet and easygoing, with the exotic oak character carrying through on the palate.  Flavors of truffle, mocha and nutty oak could use more lift.  Finishes with dusty tannin and lingering nutty oak.
