92 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2013

Good medium red.  Carnal aromas of plum, tobacco, mocha, truffle and sweet oak.  Suave, plush and full, with sweet, fine-grained flavors of red plum and redcurrant.  Very concentrated wine with very good vinosity and depth.  A bit warm on the back end and in need of time in bottle to harmonize.  This rather powerful wine finishes with a sexy truffle quality and a note of marzipan.
