(done in stainless steel and cement):  Bright dark red with ruby highlights.  Lovely perfumed lift to the aromas of black cherry, violet and red licorice.  Sappy, vibrant black cherry and floral flavors boast impressive silkiness of texture for 2012 barbera.  Finishes juicy and long, with a palate-staining whiplash of fruit.
