Bright ruby.  Aromas of black and blue fruit preserves, with notes of cracked pepper and fruitcake adding complexity.  Plush and open-knit, offering warm dark berry flavors that show some heat.  Closes spicy and long, with a lingering dark fruit liqueur aftertaste and gentle tannic grip.
