Bright, deep red-ruby. Currant, dark plum, menthol, chocolate and licorice on the nose. Vibrant and light on its feet, offering excellent definition and energy to its cassis and chocolate flavors. Very silky and seamless in texture, showing slightly elevated acidity but very good chocolatey richness. Finishes with noteworthy lift but the wine's substantial tannins will need time to harmonize with the fruit.
