Vivid red.  High-pitched aromas of red berries, potpourri, smoky minerals and Asian spices.  Sappy, penetrating and pure, offering vibrant red and dark berry flavors and an emerging rose pastille accent.  Shows a smooth blend of power and energy, finishing with strong back-end lift and cling.  Aeration brings out dusty tannins, which bode well for this sexy wine's aging potential.
