(15.3% alcohol):  Bright purple.  Heady aromas of dark berry preserves, incense and roasted coffee, with a sexy floral nuance adding brightness.  Smoky and appealingly sweet, offering intense black and blue fruit flavors braced by tangy acidity and a peppery nuance.  Closes with excellent clarity and length, leaving suave floral pastille and spicecake notes behind.  This is one of the rare 2011s from the Barossa that should improve with age.
