93 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - July 2013

Golden amber with pinkish highlights. Discreet aromas of candied quince, rose petal, lichee and dried fruits, with delicate botrytis spice. A peppery black cherry flavor is nicely accented by tobacco and oak. The vibrant spice carries the sweetness effortlessly, giving the wine an impression of nimbleness that it does not truly have. Finishes moderately long, with pleasant smoke, cinnamon and honeyed clove nuances.
