(made from vines planted in 1926): Bright ruby. Deeply pitched aromas of blackberry, cherry, sassafras and violet, with a mineral quality adding lift. Impressively concentrated dark berry flavors are sharpened by a peppery, spicy quality and pick up a floral pastille nuance with air. Rich but lively Morgon with excellent finishing clarity and fruit-driven persistence.
