90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - September/October 2013
(100% tempranillo; aged for 14 months in French and American oak and racked every 4 months until bottling in May of 2011): Inky ruby. Exotic aromas of dark berries, cocoa powder and potpourri. Ripe, broad and full, with lively acidity giving lift to the rich, dense dark fruit, licorice and chocolate flavors. Finishes long and smoky, with supple tannins and notes of candied flowers and bitter chocolate.
