(97% tempranillo and 3% graciano; aged for 24 months in French and American oak and racked every 4 months): Deep ruby. Fresh raspberry and floral scents, with suave Asian spice and cola qualities adding complexity. Energetic red fruit flavors show excellent balance and sweetness, picking up floral pastille and mineral nuances with air. Finishes clean and precise, nicely framed by smooth, harmonious tannins. In a distinctly elegant style, especially for the vintage.
