(all tempranillo; aged for 18 months in new French and Central European oak and racked every four months): Glass-staining ruby. Black and blue fruits and incense on the flamboyantly perfumed nose. Lush, palate-coating cassis and blueberry flavors show excellent clarity and become spicier with air. Notes of licorice and mocha come up on the finish, which clings with superb tenacity and smooth, sweet tannins.
