88 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - March/April 2014

Good bright, full red.  Expressive aromas of black cherry, blackberry, bitter chocolate and licorice, with a musky animal nuance and good lift from herbs and spices.  Juicy and nicely delineated, displaying good depth and energy to the flavors of blackberry, black cherry, cassis, spices and herbs.  Lively merlot with smooth tannins, a lingering hint of herbs and noteworthy intensity for its price point.  Very satisfying now.
