91 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - September/October 2013

(70% garnacha, 25% carinena and 5% cabernet sauvignon; aged for 16 months in small French oak):  Opaque ruby.  Powerful cherry and cassis aromas are brightened by smoky mineral and floral qualities.  Fresh dark berry flavors are pleasantly bitter and surprisingly lithe, with a licorice note adding interest.  Gains sweetness and weight on the finish, with the dark berry and mineral notes echoing.
