92 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - September/October 2013

Opaque ruby.  Smoky dark berries and cherry on the perfumed nose.  Mineral- and spice-accented blackberry and bitter cherry flavors show impressive depth and pick up bitter chocolate and floral pastille nuances with air.  Dusty tannins give grip to the finish, which clings with excellent tenacity and building sweetness.  This wine benefits a lot from air.
