(a representative blend of old and young vines): Good bright yellow. Less showy than the Genevrieres but higher-pitched, offering scents of lemon, lime, crushed stone and wild herbs. Dense, sappy and strong, with terrific acidity enlivening the lemon and mineral flavors. This has serious thickness and weight, not to mention power, but the very long finish also offers terrific cut and sappiness. Evolving very slowly.
