90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - September/October 2013

(made from a blend of garnacha, carinena, syrah, cabernet sauvignon and merlot):  Bright purple.  Fresh black and blue fruit aromas show very good clarity and pick up a licorice note with air.  Spicy and precise, offering boysenberry and blueberry flavors and a hint of black pepper.  A minerally note comes up with air and adds cut to the long, gently tannic finish.  Shows a lot of energy today and comes off as surprisingly drinkable for such a young Priorat wine.
