(40% garnacha peluda, 30% garnacha pais and 30% carinena):  Opaque ruby.  An expansive, heady bouquet displays scents of candied dark berries, licorice, violet pastille, woodsmoke and minerals; smells like a wine from the northern Rhone.  Sweet, penetrating and seamless on the palate, offering vibrant blackberry and cherry-cola flavors and suggestions of bitter chocolate and candied licorice.  Finishes smooth and long, with resonating spiciness and supple, even tannins.
