(100% syrah):  Medium bright red.  Reticent but pure aromas of dark berries, herbs, black pepper and violet, along with some very ripe suggestions.  Juicy, dense, savory and dry; really packed with dark berry and chocolate flavors.  Shows a distinctly stony granitic character on the powerful, slowly mounting finish, which features suave tannins, a touch of drying oak and a saline nuance.  Winemaker:  Marc Kent.
