WOW, what a Pinot Noir from Carneros. One of the best vines from 2012 Napa. What is wine without food? Waited more than a month for the arrival and finally I had the perfect meal to open the first bottle. Lamb Masala Stew with San Marzano tomatoes and extra spin of orange zest. The dark ruby color is the perfect companion to serve the massive fruit with the spicy curry flavors or the Masala Lamb. What a discovery! Send the 2013..

This is a very nice (and very BIG) Pinot Noir. It is pretty much as described by the WineAccess review, but there IS a bit of heat there in spite of what they say. It may diminish with age or some decanting, but even so, this is very nice wine. 4.5 stars.
