More About This Wine
When Andrea Costanti took over the family business from his Uncle Emilio in 1983, he had big shoes to fill—the Costantis have been one of the premier wine families in Montalcino since the 1500s. Costanti proved more than up to the challenge, however, and today, produces complex, aromatic Brunellos, plus the Super Tuscan Vermiglio.

Dark red. A strong note of violet complicates expressive aromas of plum, redcurrant, mocha, licorice and cinnamon on the knockout nose. Sweet, broad and juicy, with good weight to its red fruit and spicy licorice flavors. Finishes smoothly tannic and very long, with repeating violet and dark cherry nuances of exceptional purity and precision. One of the best Rossos of the vintage.
