Bright medium ruby.  Musky aromas of cassis, chicory, loam and tart cherry stomp.  Suave, sweet and fine-grained, showing a light touch to its urgent, slightly medicinal dark berry, black cherry and soil-driven flavors.  Finishes seamless and persistent, with building tannins turning a bit dusty as the wine opens in the glass.
