(12.7% alcohol):  Bright, pale yellow.  Spicy aromas of lime zest, wet stone and dusty leafy herbs.  Then surprisingly broad and pliant in the mouth, but with attractive delicacy to the classically dry flavors of lime, lemon and minerals.  Finishes with a positive dusty quality and good length.  In weight, this is midway between Federspiel and Smaragd.  From the cool Columbia Gorge, one of the few appellations in Washington State dominated by white wine production.
