90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2013
Good bright yellow. Complex, inviting aromas of stone fruits, lemon curd and vanillin oak. Plush, fruity and sweet, with lovely floral lift to the stone fruit and citrus flavors. Good acid cut to leaven the wine's smooth texture. Nicely integrated oak on the persistent, gripping finish. I'd give this another year in bottle to absorb some more of its alcohol.
