Good bright ruby-red. Chocolate and mocha currently overshadow dark berries on the nose. Sweet on entry, then a bit high-toned and musclebound in the middle palate, hiding more than it's showing today. Toothcoating tannins avoid coming off as dry, as there's strong supporting material, but this is nonetheless tough going today.
