Had this with grilled flank steak. Wonderful! There was just a bit of tartrate on the cork, but very little sediment. Very dark garnet to the rim. Excellent nose of purple/black fruits, cassis and vanillin oak. Rich on the palate with dark fruit, spice and black cherry liqueur. VERY long and smooth finish. Fine, and fully worth five stars.
