Vivid ruby.  Aromas of raspberry liqueur, cherry, potpourri and Asian spices on the exotically perfumed nose.  Juicy, penetrating and sweet, with intense black raspberry and floral pastille flavors and a supple, velvety texture.  Finishes very long, with smooth, melting tannins and a strong note of candied flowers.  There's a full-bore 16% alcohol here but I wouldn't have guessed it.
