(100% nero d'Avola; 14% alcohol):  Deep ruby-red.  High-pitched scents of raspberry, red cherry, violet and spices.  Sweet, spicy and light on its feet, with terrific inner-mouth energy giving superb definition to the red fruit, herb and mineral flavors.  This racy, sleek, long wine leaves the taste buds vibrating.  With its sneaky power and building tannins, this needs to be served with food.  I think Nerobaronj is the most improved wine in the Gulfi lineup.
