Now starting to top out!
by Johnson13027091
So glad I let this sit for awhile.....really starting to fulfill it's potential. Sat on a friend's boat this past weekend. They are French and had an American friend along who has been in the wine/hospitality business for a long time. One bottle didn't last long between the 4 of us drinking it. They were stunned at the price and the quality of the wine in the glass....great bouquet, deep dark brooding zin character, smooth mouthfeel, no bitterness, not overly acidic nor overly spiced. Drinking perfectly right now with a projected peak of 2034. My last 9 bottles will never make it that far.........
Evangelho 3's

First choice out of 5. Had 3 bottles open, 10% of 1 left for only 12 people drinking; this was the last wine in the series of 5.
Smooth drinking Zin

Enjoyed with some steak the other night. Plenty of body to stand up to a rib eye, yet smooth and easy to drink.

Today's Zin styles range from elegant, taut, and claret-like midweights to superripe and potty behemoths, with off-the-charts...
