Pale straw-yellow. Aromas of apple, apricot, truffle and brown spices. Spicy and lightly saline, showing good density to its flavors of apple and caramel oak. The nicely glyceral middle offers a hint of sweetness. Suggests the density that comes from slow ripening in this cooler year. Finishes with lingering spice character and good grip.
