Deep ruby.  Smoky, spice-tinged cherry and blackberry on the nose, along with hints of olive and cola.  Spicy, faintly medicinal dark fruit flavors gain sweetness with air and pick up a sexy floral nuance.  Pretty serious for a Cotes-du-Rhone, finishing with suave sweetness and smooth, well-judged tannins that add gentle grip.
